The cover illustration is a slightly modified version of Frank Frazetta’s intended Buck Rogers cover art for Famous Funnies #217. According to Frazetta, the Famous Funnies editors rejected it for being too violent.

“Adam Link in Business” was adapted from the Eando (Otto) Binder short story.

This is the last issue of the series. It is also the last comic published from E. C. Comics’ “New Trend” pulp-suspense line. Some months before, E. C. began a “New Direction” line that was mindful of appropriate content for children and was approved by the Comics Code Authority. All new E. C. pulp-suspense comics after this comic were part of that line.

The series’ numbering continues in the E. C. “New Direction” title Incredible Science Fiction.
